Nato a due passi dalla Costiera Amalfitana, la mia passione per la fotografia è nata grazie a mio padre; è seguendo i suoi passi che ho preso in mano una fotocamera ed è grazie a lui se oggi sono arrivato a questo punto.
In questo cammino porto sempre nel cuore mia madre, che ormai non c'è più, ma che con il suo amore ha plasmato profondamente l'uomo e l'artista che sono oggi. Da loro ho ereditato un profondo rispetto per la natura e per tutti i suoi abitanti, una sensibilità che guida ogni mia scelta.
Questo legame viscerale si traduce nel mio amore per il trekking e nell'esplorazione del mondo selvaggio, guidato da una profonda ammirazione e rispetto per la cultura dei Nativi Americani e la loro filosofia di sacra connessione con la Terra.
Per me, fotografare la natura significa accostarsi ad essa in punta di piedi, seguendo un'etica rigorosa: il rispetto assoluto per l'animale e per il suo habitat viene sempre prima dello scatto.
Mi porto dentro da sempre una sentimento racchiuso in una frase di Bob Marley: "Illumina l'oscurità". Credo che la fotografia abbia il potere di fare proprio questo: trovare la luce dove sembra esserci solo ombra, celebrando la poesia incontaminata della terra e dei suoi esseri viventi.

On this journey, I always carry my mother in my heart; she is no longer with us, but with her love, she deeply shaped the man and the artist I am today. From them, I inherited a profound respect for nature and all its inhabitants: a sensitivity that guides my every choice.
